Fort Morgan is located in Morgan County, in northeastern off of I-76 and Highway 34. Fort Morgan is the county seat of Morgan County and covers approximately 4.5 square miles. The city was named after Colonel Christopher Morgan. This city is small enough for a home town atmosphere, but large enough to offer many amenities.
